Luna

Luna is a beautiful 4-year-old girl with so much love to give. She was adopted through Urban Tails as a puppy, but has been returned to rescue through no fault of her own.

She’s the perfect mix of sweet, affectionate, cuddly, independent, and playful — she loves being close to her people just as much as she loves a good game of fetch.

Luna has had structured K9 training (3–6 weeks) and already knows commands like sit, down, heel, and break. She is crate trained, e-collar trained, and house trained. She’s also very food motivated, which makes her eager to learn and a great candidate for continued training and bonding. Luna loves to sniff and track and would likely do VERY well with scent detection training as an outlet.

Luna would do best in a home that can offer her structure, consistency, and lots of love. Shepherd/working breed experience would be a great fit for Luna. Luna gets along well with dogs around her own size and submissive, but she is not a fan of small dogs. If she has proper introductions it could work with the right home. Luna is not cat tested and does well around dog savvy kids.

She is currently dealing with some allergy related skin issues right now, which have caused some hair loss on her ears and back, so she’ll need an owner who can help her stay on the right food to manage her allergies.
